I managed to pick up book 1 of "Evangelion: Girlfriend of steel 2nd" at Japan Book Plaza's closing down sale a while a go. It's interesting to see Evangelion told in a shojo universe. Actually two more Evangelion manga have been released since then; book 10 of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series and book 1 of a new series based on the "Raising Shinji project" game. It's 567�~ and is out of stock already. As Gainax continues to cash in on the Eva spinoffs we must ask ourselves, how much more Eva can our fragile minds take?
